It used to be extremely difficult to buy left handed golf clubs. This is because it is only recently that manufacturers started catering to the people who are left handed. In years past, left handed people had to custom order their clubs because using ones made for right handed people could send the ball in the opposite direction. Left handed people had to pay a high price for the right set of clubs. Luckily, as the product becomes more readily available the price is decreasing. The rates for left handed clubs are now comparable with rates for right handed ones. But where can you find the best deals on these type of clubs? You can spend quite a bit on left handed golf clubs, but if you are a beginner, you may want to start off with something more reasonable. If you’re looking for a good deal, try larger sites like Amazon or Ebay, or perhaps Craigslist. Many people sell used golf clubs on these sites, often in very good condition. You’ll often get your golf clubs at a good price when you find them this way. You can find used clubs that are still in great condition at a much lower price than new ones. The downside is that, unless you find a local seller, you won’t be able to try them before buying them. New golfers, however, don’t yet know what kind of clubs they like anyway, so it’s not that important for them. If you browse the internet, you can find lots of places to buy golf clubs for left handers. There are websites that sell golf equipment of all kinds, as well as more general sites like Amazon or Ebay that have anything you are looking for. When you’re online, you are in the privacy of your own room and won’t be pressured by anyone. On the other hand, if it’s important for you to try out your golf clubs before you buy them, the internet doesn’t permit this. So if you are someone who is fussy about your golf clubs, buying online might not be the solution for you.

Another possibility for left handed golfers is to get clubs custom made. This is the most expensive alternative, of course, but you are assured of getting clubs that are just right for you. If this interests you, you can find people who make golf clubs online or who put up a notice at a golf pro shop. Talk to the intense golfers at your local course to see if they know anybody who can help you get golf clubs made to your specifications. It can be difficult to be left handed. When it comes to a game like golf, where the equipment is so costly, it can be particularly frustrating. Left handed players of other sports don’t usually have to search for such specific items. At least today, left handed golfers are becoming more recognized so their needs are being met. Stores specializing in sports supplies usually carry left handed golf clubs, and they aren’t hard to locate online. They are no longer as expensive as they were, either!
