Golf swing drills to help your game
In order to hit the ball well you will need a proper golf swing. There are not many easy ways to get a good golf swing however, and it takes a lot of time to master. However, the easiest path there would be to do some golf swing drills.The best thing to do when learning to play golf is to pick up an instructional video or book that helps you iron out the techniques. By this time in your golf training, you are aware of the rules and simply need to get the physical actions down, which a video will be able to help you with. It will show you what a proper and improper swing looks like and will help you get all the kinks out of a bad swing.
A great drill to do doesn’t even require any equipment. That’s right! This drill can be done at home, in the yard or even at the office. Put your hands together out in front of you, but have the palms facing each other. Do some practice swings and make sure the hands never come apart or slide. This is an indication that your swing is smooth and balanced, making for a great hit!
The stance is one of the most important things to remember in golf. It is important to stand correctly but still be comfortable. Have the ball placed a little over half a club length in front of you, just enough for your club to make contact. Have the ball a little towards the front foot, so that the club will hit the ball at the perfect downswing time.
