Have you ever undergone pain in the back that meant that you could not walk, sit or even think upright? In that case, if you have, you may have gone through the slipped disk. The slipped disc occurs when your lumbar disc gel has leaked from the vertebrae and compresses your vertebrae nerves. Some of the slipped disk symptoms include back numbness, weakening of the back, and immense agony and other symptoms. You can reverse this, but how? Here are the three secret ways to rectify a slipped disc

1. Stretching your spine – A slipped disk is caused by the spine twisting and bending, therefore when you stretch it, the disc is stuck back to its rightful place. One good way to get this done is by lying flat on your back and have someone pull your legs gently ensuring that you do not cause any more damage to the vertebrae. This slipped disk treatment may last for about 5 minutes.

2. Cold compression – After herniating a disc, some of the symptoms are inflammation and swelling. This makes it difficult for it to slip back to its original position. The purpose is to uncover a way to shrink it to where it is supposed to be, and and compression just happens to be one of the best ways to do this Frozen compress is done by applying gentle pressure using frozen peas or a pack of ice on on the injured location. This helps minimize the size of the swollen area on the disc. Coupled with the spine stretching exercise, the frozen compress will see slipped disk goes back to its original place.

3. Gentle pressure downwards into the vertebrae – The patient should lie flat on the stomach then gently press on the spine with the fingers. This is a common technique used by chiropractors and massage professionals. Acupuncture is also an effective pressing technique.
